Hello Pyramid Lake Tribal Members,

The application is now live and posted for the $1,000.00 2024 Economic Stimulus.  Those that are eligible for the stimulus have 6 years to claim their money.  All minors or adults that have money still being invested will have this amount added to their total. Any new minor Tribal members that were enrolled in the Tribe after the deadline on April 6, 2018, will have a new trust fund created in their name for this $1,000.00. For all other Tribal Members filing out this application the Trust fund company will be sending out Checks only. 

As a reminder, the cutoff date for Tribal members that are eligible for this stimulus was December 6, 2024.  Any other new Tribal members enrolled after that date are not going to be eligible.

Thank you all for your kindness while we worked through the process and be sure to thank the members from all of the Tribal Councils that we have had over the decades.  It was only through all our combined efforts that such a gift was made possible.

“Hello Pyramid Lake Tribal Members,

Just a quick update on the status of the Christmas Economic Stimulus. The paperwork was submitted earlier this week to the BIA.  They have approved the request and sent it to the Bureau of Trust Fund Administration (BTFA) formerly known as the Office of Special Trustee (OST).  We are now waiting for the transfer of funds to our Trust account, once we get word that the transfer is complete we will begin the application process.

“Pyramid Lake Paiute Members,

Friday December 6th, the Tribal Council voted to approve an Economic Stimulus package of $1,000.00   This money comes from the interest accumulated over the past couple of years from the settlement fund established in the 90’s.   Please be patient while we work behind the scenes to review the paperwork, request the funding, and fine tune the applications that will have to be filled out by all eligible living members.  Thank you all and keep an eye out for further updates.”
